Our team of highly trained nurses and case managers are experts in the rehabilitation of seriously and catastrophically injured workers. We care deeply for the people we serve and are accountable to industry standards. Upshot looks forward to providing expert guidance and recommendations throughout the entire recovery journey.
Our Founder
Kathy Stone, founder and owner of Upshot Case Management, had a dear friend in high school that was paralyzed in a car accident. This event changed not only the friend’s life, but all of those around her, including Kathy’s.
Because of this event/injury, Kathy became a registered nurse as it stirred something deep in her to help people…. and then Kathy was exposed to an event for people with disabilities… and then a career at a hospital that was a Center of Excellence for inpatient rehabilitation, and then the emergency room, and then case management, and then the workers compensation industry. Etc., Etc.
We never know what path life will take us on, what will nudge us, move us, or direct us. But for the injured person and those that surround them, hopefully, eventually, the Upshot will be revealed.
